Feeder Channel Colouring

The füller Feeder Channel Colouring System is a fully integrated solution comprising pre-melting of colour frit and a highly precise colour dosing of liquid colour concentrate into the glass flow of clear glass in the forehearth in combination with a highly effective stirrer unit and high-performance stirrers.

  • controlled frit dosing system, glass level monitoring and concentrate flow control
  • servo-based pre-melting positioning and “out” position

  • füller stirrer mechanisms and – integration
  • channel instrumentation like temperature, viscosity, impedance
  • forehearth drain for precise flow control for colour cord removal
  • may be integrated into u-shaped forehearth design
  • or may be part of an made to order forehearth segment with full electric heating system and – control, stirrers, drain and instrumentation fully integrated to an integral unit
  • refractory system or platinum corrosion protection for fast colour change
