Transport systems and handling robots connect all intersections of the production process and thus are a very important component of a fully automatic production process. The PC-based control of all movements carried out by the servo-motor systems facilitates a smooth transport of glass items. Transport- and handling systems may be integrated into other production systems or may operate independently.
